The Basement Committee would like to welcome all members to join them each
Wednesday from 1830 to 2200 for socializing, camaraderie and sea stories.
The Basement is also open on meeting nights at 1800 and immediately
following the meeting.

Post 71 will hold Memorial Day activities starting at 8:00 hours to place flags on the graves of all veterans in the Clayton cemeteries. Our Post Everlasting Ceremony will be held at McLaurin at Pinecrest in Clayton at 19:00 hours. Firing squad will practice on Wednesday evening (05-25-2011) at 17:30 hours at the Legion.

THE AID & ATTENDANCE PENSION The Aid and Attendance (A&A) Pension provides benefits for veterans and surviving spouses who require the regular attendance of another person to assist in eating, bathing, dressing and undressing or taking care of the needs of nature. It also includes individuals who are blind or a patient in a nursing home because of mental or physical incapacity. Assisted care in an assisting living facility also qualifies. |
